Tada!

Well, due to a slow day, I was able to straighten out some things on the homepage. Added the masthead, which adds so much!! Added the calendar and the community site. Check out the community and leave some comments. There's a special section where you can leave your praises to me. :) I still need to work on the comments pages but I at least have the form working and the colors are now correct. I also need to tackle the old, decrepid pages, the ones that have been there since I learned HTML. I don't even want to look at the code! YIKES!!

It's cold and rainy today. Ick. Good house cleaning weather! I have to resist the temptation to go to IKEA and get the bed I want. Why am I resisting? Why not just go get it? I don't know. Seems like a decadent purchase when I have a perfectly working bed (I only want to buy the head and foot boards) and who knows what my working situation will be at the end of June. But it's only $150. Sigh...too late to go tonight. Maybe I will forget by tomorrow...year, right.

I fell asleep in my car yesterday. No, I wasn't driving. I was parked in the lot of the YMCA. I had talked to Mom on the phone and the nrealized I was really tired. I had planned on only doing the strength routine anyway, but it's still work, so I decided to take a little nap to refresh myself. Nearly three hours later, I woke up. I decided to forego the workout and instead went to McDonalds and to Michael, to buy some yarn. Tongiht I worked out, but then got fast food again. Argh!

My office needs a change. I don't know what. Something. Hmmm. Not as many options here since the network cable only extends so far. Will dwell on this.

Bad Bad!

So April hasn't been good in a couple of ways for me. I finished no books this month. I justify this by the fact I read 8 in the past two months and this more than makes up for it. Also, my eating and, really my Mountain Dew drinking, habits have been horric. I promise to myself that May will be better.

ET...where have you been? Haven't had a comment from you in eons!

It's About Time!

So, thanks to Tim, at least the homepage here looks okay again. The comments page needs a lot of work, but that will come later. It's needed an overhaul for quite some time anyway.

Things have been good lately: some new job prospectives, the sun has been out, it's been warm, etc. Sunday was especially nice: went to two of my favorite places in Seattle in the same day! Got some blisters (have to learn that lesson about not walking barefoot on the sidewalk nearly every year it seems) but they're better now. I even bought a frisbee at Target. You just never know when an impromptu frisbee session at Golden Gardens needs to happen! :) I was also reminded of what a horrible baseball thrower I am. I chalk that up to not having a father figure to teach me. :)

Shall I begin the countdown to my birthday? Nah. I'll wait until May.

Testing 1, 2, 3

So I migrated the site to a new ISP and it was a bit messy. Mostly it was my fault; I forgot to take download the blogging CGI and then the old acount closed and I didn't have access to it anymore. I asked them kindly for it, but they wouldn't give it to me and then I had to start over again. So. If you notice any kinks on the sites, and I am sure there are aplenty, just hold your horses. I am working on it. :)

A Lot of Books

So, so far in February and March, I read four books each month. That's pretty good, considering that's only two less than what I read the whole of 2004. It turns out that The Eyre Affair is actually a series. Great. Now I will have to track all those down in the library system. Sure, I could buy them, but I don't think I want them. Reading them is fun but I don't want to collect them.

Met with a trainer today who's going to devise a strength training program for me since I hardly do any at all. I have cardio under control, though, so at least she doesn't have to do that. I am only going to her once, for now, and then will workout on my own with her instructions since it's pretty pricey to go to a trainer. I figure I spend enough money on losing weight as it is.

Please, oh please, let it be nice tomorrow! I am going to the Tulip Festival and it always rains or is gloomy when I've gone in the past.

I also have access to the hot tub for a week. Wahoo!

Today I am wearing a t-shirt that says, "I do all my own stunts." It amused me considering I sit behind a computer the majority of my day.
